So here's the thing - after reading the negative reviews about this place and the fact that, well, it doesn't look particularly clean, these guys are honest and knowledgeable. I was having a lot of problems with my Isuzu transmission. I called them, namely Al (the main person I conversed and interacted with), and he said he could tow my car to their shop which was quite a distance from Portland to Aloha. My car was in pretty bad shape and he worked with us to come up with the best solution. Al is very nice, hard-working, and honest. I would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a trustworthy mechanic.

Excellent Service and very knowledgeable and affordable. Their mechanic took the time to explain everything to me. Gave me a whole course on how O2 Sensors work and how it can affect my car. Their price is very affordable they were the cheapest when I was doing my shopping around. And they only use original parts. Which made me very happy to have Honda original parts be installed on my Accord for half of the price the dealer was asking. Just moved here from Phoenix AZ and glad to find a great mechanic

My Honda was over heating took it a mechanic near my house and he said it needed an new engine because it over heated and bent the head. and was asking me for $2900.00 to replace my engine with a used engine.I thought of getting a second opinion so I took my car to Japanese Auto Service in Aloha. there they checked my car and said I had a faulty thermostat. charged me $55 dollars to replace it. Now my car is running just like it was before the overheating started. I am so glad I went there. They saved me close to $3000.00 had I listened to that other mechanic.
